CWA Local 3407 represents about 280 dues paying members here locally in Southwest Louisiana employed at AT&T and Avaya.
 
Through the years our members have had many battles to gain the improvement in working conditions, benefits and wages that we all enjoy, and many of us didn’t have to endure the battle for.  We are all still enjoying these benefits today.
 
Here at Local 3407 we are committed to continuing to support our members weather the many battles and changes we have already endured, yet continue to face daily in an ever changing work environment that seems to be confronted with more of Corporate America sending our jobs overseas or battling to take away what we have fought so hard for over the years and the current Administration of our great country supporting their efforts.

Job Stewards will be collecting money to purchase a Pool Table for Boys and Girls Village December 3 thru December 20. Our goal is $1000 to purchase a really nice pool table that will last.  We have approximately 275 members, so if we could all chip in about three of four dollars each, we could easily meet our goal.
We will purchase and present the Pool Table at Boys and Girls Village on December 21st.  We are going to set up coverage with the American Press and invite any member that would like to attend to be present. We will post the time at all work center locations, send email to members and post on this sight.  This is strictly a CWA Local 3407 charitable event and will not have at&t anywhere in the coverage.  
 
OUR GOAL IS $1000.00 !!!!
